Shirley Ward Recognized as a "Top Women Business Owner" DALLAS (July 28, 2008) – The Ward Group is pleased to announce that its founder & CEO, Shirley Ward, ranked 18th out of the top 25 women business owners in Dallas/Ft. Worth. The award was presented by the Dallas Business Journal to a select group of influential businesswomen in the DFW area.“This honor is possible because of the talented and hardworking staff at Ward. Shirley founded The Ward Group 23 years ago and it has been a successful enterprise ever since. With over $34 million in gross billings, the advertising agency is regularly ranked among the top 25 largest ad agencies in DFW. The Ward Group along with the other top 25 women owned businesses generated more than $3 billion in revenue last year. The Dallas Business Journal hosted its Women in Business Luncheon on Thursday, July 24, 2008, to recognize the top 25 women business owners and 25 of the most influential women in business. |
